Steve Vincent was elected to the West Valley City Council as the District 4 representative in November, 2001 and began serving as a Council member in January, 2002.
Steve was born and raised in the Salt lake Valley. He graduated from Olympus High School, where he was involved in sport receiving varsity letters in Soccer, Cross County and Track. Steve attended the University of Utah. Steve loves most all sports and has completed 5 marathons and dozens of 5k and 10k runs. Steve was involved in the creation of the Westfest family 5k and is an advocate of trails and bike paths in the city.
Steve has been actively involved in community and civic duties, including serving on the West Valley Board of Adjustments, Westfest Committee and coach of many youth teams. Steve has also served as a volunteer on the Park City Mountain Ski patrol and has been a volunteer for over 30 year working the sidelines of the University of Utah football games.
Steve is married to his wife Susan; they have 4 children and 5
grandchildren. The Vincent’s love camping and hiking and have visited
many of the National and State Parks in Utah, Idaho, Colorado, Wyoming

Electrical Designer, prior to working for BNA Consulting Steve worked 23
year for the LDS Church in the Architectural Engineering Department.
Steve loves the city and is excited to work with the City staff and
Council to move the city forward.
