West Valley City is excited to move forward with these projects that are truly transforming the city. As construction is underway, residents and visitors are encouraged to patronize businesses in the area. These businesses are vital to the local economy, and everyone benefits from their success. Residents, businesses, and visitors are also encouraged to voice their opinions.
One of the most exciting projects currently underway in WestValleyCity is the CityCenter project, which includes property from 2700 West to 3200 West, between 3500 South and 3650 South.
The Fairbourne Station project, when complete, will include a TRAX light rail line, an Intermodal hub, connecting light rail, bus, and bus rapid transit, and mixed use development consisting of retail, residential, and office space. Get more information about Fairbourne Station.
Valley Fair Mall In addition to the progress being made west of 2700 West, Valley Fair Mall has undergone a complete transformation. Exterior construction is complete, and retail and restaurant space is filling up with major brands including Olive Garden, TGI Friday's, Smashburger, Zupas, Ross, Famous Footwear, and Petco. For more information, please visit the Shop Valley Fair Mall website.
West Valley TRAX Line
Construction is complete on the West Valley TRAX line, which will bring light rail transit right to the heart of West Valley City, joining Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and regular bus transit at the new Intermodal Hub, near West Valley City Hall. Get more information on the UTA TRAX Project.
