  1. Utah Watercolor Society Spring Open Exhibition

    May 4, 2017 - June 28, 2017, All Day @ Utah Cultural Celebration Center

    This annual exhibition, brought to you by the Utah Watercolor Society, will showcase the best of Utah’s water media artists. This year’s exhibition was juried by nationally renowned artist Janet Rogers. Her task was to select 90 works from the 199 entries submitted. Many of the displaying artists are themselves nationally renowned in water media. “Water media” means works that can be completed in any medium using water to move the paint, such as traditional watercolor, acrylic, inks, and gouache. All works for this exhibition are painted in a “traditional” manner, in that they are painted on paper and presented under glass. Come view the dazzling display of watercolor at its finest, on display at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center May 4 – June 28, 2017.
