    Wednesday, May 21 and November 19 NW 555 ... Neighborhood Watch: Chairperson Training These meetings are meant for existing and future Neighborhood Watch Chairpersons. In addition to getting current information from the City, you will have an opportunity to meet other Chairpersons from around the city and to share ideas and strategies. Attending at least one chairperson training a year is an important part of the registration process.

    West Valley City Police Chief Lee Russo will discuss crime in the City as well as crime prevention and other community concerns. He will also be discussing the current state of the West Valley City Police Department and future plans for the organization. Chief Russo will answer questions from residents, and will be available to meet residents individually following his presentation.

    The Utah Cultural Celebration Center presents the 11th annual Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) altar display and community gathering, a folk art exhibit and event recognizing this significant and expressive Mexican holiday

    The Utah Cultural Celebration Center presents the 11th annual Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) altar display and community gathering, a folk art exhibit and event recognizing this significant and expressive Mexican holiday. The free celebration features a variety of exciting, educational, and hands-on activities for the whole family.

  3. Trees of Diversity Exhibition

    November 20, 9:00 AM, 2014 - January 3, 2015, 6:00 PM @ Utah Cultural Celebration Center

    For over ten years the Utah Cultural Celebration Center has ended the year with a magical, holiday tree exhibit that overflows from the art gallery and throughout the entire facility. The Trees of Diversity exhibit showcases not only decorated trees, but also gingerbread houses, wreaths, nativities and holiday scenes. Both the exhibit and opening reception are free and open to the public Bring the family on November 21 for the official opening reception and have photos taken with Santa. Reception begins at 6 p.m. Enjoy more than 25 trees decorated by different ethnic arts groups from throughout the valley. Refreshments and music will also be provided. Exhibit runs Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. or by arrangement.
