  13. WVC Ham Radio Operators Networking Meeting

    March 19, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ West Valley City Hall Multipurpose Room

    This meeting is meant to serve as a starting point to create a connected Ham Radio operator network. In times of crisis and natural disasters, Ham Radio, amateur radio is often used as a way of emergency communication with other more conventional means of communication are not available. A network of WVC amateur radio operators may become the best and fastest line of communication in case of an emergency. This meeting is being organized to create a WVC network of operators and to begin having regular on air tests and practice. If you are a licensed Ham Radio operator, we invite you to join this group. If you have interest in learning more about the amateur radio operators, we invite you to join this group.
