Overview
The West Valley City Fire Department Is an "all hazard" fire department. Responding to 10,000 calls per year. Our operations include:
- Fire Operations: Response to all types of call for aid including alarms, public assistance, and all types of fires.
- Medical Operations: response to all types of medical calls, including transport.
- Special Operations/Homeland Security: Response to all specialty calls, including hazardous materials, technical rescues, and bomb/terrorist incidents.
- Fire Prevention: public education, presentations, fire and incident investigation, business inspections/fire code enforcement, C.E.R.T., and juvenile fire setter program.
