The City Attorney's Office provides legal services on behalf of the city. It does not represent or give legal advice to:
- businesses
- groups
- individual or private citizens
- other entities
Management
The City Attorney's Office is managed and supervised by department head J. Eric Bunderson, City Attorney, with assistance from an Operations Manager and an Executive Administrative Assistant, and consists of two divisions:
- The Civil Division
- The Prosecution Division (also known as the Criminal Division or the Prosecutor's Office)
