Recycling Program

Curbside Pickup

Curbside recycling is picked up biweekly. Please place your recycling container on the street, along with your regular garbage container by 7 a.m. on your regularly scheduled pickup day. Find your schedule, or call 801-963-3334.

Customer Service

For missed pickups, call Ace Recycling and Disposal at 801-363-9995, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m, and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12. Messages may be left 24 hours per day. Glass Recycling

West Valley City has partnered with ACE Recycling and Disposal and Momentum Recycling to provide glass recycling. Drop-off bins are located in the northwest corner of the Maverik Center overflow parking lot (3025 South Decker Lake Drive), the southwest end of the Public Works Operations facility (2805 South 3600 West), and in the west parking lot of the Family Fitness Center (5415 West 3100 South), south of the west softball diamonds. Bins are accessible 24 hours per day, seven days per week.

ACE Recycling and Disposal will deliver the donated glass to Momentum Recycling, a local glass recycler. Momentum Recycling will turn the recycled glass into high-quality raw materials for making a wide range of products including fiberglass, containers, water filters and more.
