Revolution Curated: Original Art of Yan'an's New Society 1955-1984
This
dramatic exhibit gives witness to the experience of rural peasant artists
during China's Cultural Revolution. Rich in folk traditions, the exhibit
portrays the life of artists during the Revolution, and gives historical
witness to Mao's rise to power as lived by China's rural peasant artists.
