When should I have my container on the street?: Your recycling container must be out on the curb by 7:00 AM on your scheduled collection day (you may place your container on the street the night prior to your collection day). West Valley City Ordinance requires that your container must be off the street within 24 hours of collection.

2. West Valley City Ordinance requires that your container must be off the street within 24 hours of collection.

3. My regular pickup was missed, what do I do?: Contact ACE Recycling & Disposal at 801-363-9995. Recycling containers that are not in compliance with rules will not be emptied until in compliance. Learn more about what you can put in your garbage container here.

4. Do I have to participate in West Valley City's recycling program?: No. If you would like to opt out of West Valley City recycling service, call the Sanitation Division at 801-963-3334. They will collect your recycling container and adjust your account so that you are not charged for recycling pickup.
