Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is a life-saving emergency technique of administering chest compressions to a victim in cardiac arrest. Nationally, bystanders start CPR about 40 percent of the time. In Utah, the rate is much lower -- about 20 percent. For every minute that CPR is delayed, a victim's chance of survival drops by ten percent; if you wait even five minutes, the chance of survival is cut in half! Hands-only CPR does not require mouth-to-mouth. By simply administering chest compressions, you can save a life! In addition to CPR, we will teach life-saving techniques to stop bleeding.
