What type of grant programs does West Valley City have?
West Valley City currently operates a CDBG (Community Development Block Grant) program, a Down Payment Assistance program for first time home buyers, and three different programs that address home rehabilitation needs. For more detailed information please visit the Grants homepage

Do you still have money available?
The money available for each program changes often, since the grant programs are offered on a first come first served basis and we receive many applications each week. For the most current information on the availability of money or programs please contact the Grants Office at (801) 963-3369.

Where can I get an application?
Applications for all of the grant programs are available online at the below link, or at the Grants Division Office located at 4522 West 3500 South, West Valley City, UT 84119, inside the Community Preservation/Animal Shelter Building.

How long does it take to get approved?
The approval process varies depending upon which program you are applying for and the individual qualifications for that program. On average the typical approval process will generally only take two weeks once a completed application is submitted.

Our office hours are Monday - Thursday during from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and we are happy to answer any additional questions you may have.
