Help us provide our dogs with a change of scenery and take one of our adoptable dogs out for a Doggy Daycation!
How does it work?
- Complete a Doggy Daycation Application.
- Schedule an appointment
- Once you’ve scheduled your Doggy Daycation appointment, you’ll receive an email with a link to a training video. Please make sure to watch this video before your first Doggy Daycation visit. While you’ll need to schedule each Doggy Daycation online, you only need to watch the training video once. This helps us keep track of participants and appointment times.
- We will show you a list of dogs that are available to take out.
- We will provide a location guide with a ton of dog-friendly locations you can visit for your Doggy Daycation!
- We will provide a Doggy Daycare Supply Pack containing a harness; a leash; a water bottle and travel water bowl; "Adopt Me!" swag for your pup to wear; poop bags; and, and laminated cards with important safety information. Note: Our Doggy Daycare Supply Packs are provided thanks to the generosity of our donors and supporters like you!
- Take your pup out on an adventure (their field trip must last at least an hour)!
- Take photos and fill out a provided report card to let potential adopters know how your pup did outside of a shelter environment!
Things to Know
- Doggy Daycation dogs can leave at 9:30 AM and must be back by 5 PM.
- Participants must be 18 and provide a driver's license for our records to check out a dog.
